Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SpendTheBits (“SpendTheBits”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data in connection with the StableNet website at spendthebits.com (the “Site”). It applies to visitors who browse the Site, contact us, or request resources such as a demo or compliance checklist. It does not govern the separate institutional agreements under which we provide the StableNet platform to customers.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly when you submit a form (book a demo, request the brochure, download the MSB compliance checklist, request the ROI brief or trust pack):
- Name
- Work email address
- Company / organisation
- Role (where requested)
- Any message or context you choose to include
Information collected automatically when you use the Site:
- Usage and device data (pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, browser and device type) gathered by analytics — only after you accept cookies.
- Standard server and security logs generated when content is served.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics”).
How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and deliver the resources you request.
- To follow up about StableNet where you have expressed interest.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and understand how it is used.
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and anti–money-laundering obligations.
Legal bases
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for analytics cookies and marketing follow-up); our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site, and responding to business enquiries); and compliance with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, including:
- Netlify — website hosting and form submission handling.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for the resources you request.
- Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics — website usage analytics (loaded only after consent).
- Anthropic — powering the Site’s AI assistant, when you choose to use it.
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, and the public.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses a cookie banner. Analytics scripts (Google Analytics 4 and Plausible) load only after you select “Accept all.” If you select “Decline,” analytics are not loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the Site’s storage in your browser, which will re-display the banner.
Data retention
We retain form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and pursue a legitimate business relationship, and thereafter as required to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the providers’ standard retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@spendthebits.com.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for business and institutional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
